Seriously

Seriously I am the BIGGEST blog slacker out there!!

I don't know what is wrong with me I just can't get into a blogging rhythm these days.

For the past 9 days I have been sick with a horrible cold and cough with awful congestion, and now my husband is sick. Husbands being sick equal's torture! They think they are the sickest things ever to walk the earth! It wears me OUT!

Every single time that I plan vacation days at work I end up sick, I was off Friday and Monday and what do you know I was sick. I am going to stop planning time off!

I am already looking forward to this weekend, we have a Birthday/Halloween party to go to for my cousin's husband on Saturday, and Sunday we are going to my Tia's for dinner.

Let's talk about Fall TV! :) I love me some Fall TV Lineup!!!

Shame on me!

I have left you all hanging with our house pictures. I won't be able to update today with more house pictures because I am too lazy to get up and go use my desktop and search for pictures.

I want to apologize in advance this post is going to be all over the place.

This week has been DRAGGING!! I am so ready for tomorrow at five o'clock. ACTUALLY I am ready for vacation. Boo and I will be leaving to head to the mountains for 6 days!! I AM SO EXCITED which isn't helping with making time pass by faster.

We are heading to Greenville, SC to visit the in-laws and then to Cherokee, NC and Gaitlinburg, TN for 3 days, then back to the ATL for a night and back home!

I have never been to Tennessee, that's the part I am looking forward to the most. I love the cooler weather in the mountains and you best believe when we get back I will have a billion pictures.

This Saturday my baby brother turns seven...yes I said SEVEN! That just seems incredibly old to me lol I just can't even fathom him growing up...it's happening way too fast. He is into dinosaurs and marine animals right now which I think is awesome. When the movie Big Miracle was in the theaters we took him to see it and he loved it.

Hopefully Sunday I will be able to get some sun at the beach if Mother Nature cooperates.

Happy almost Friday everyone! :)

Our House - Moving In - Part Two!

We had SO MUCH STUFF! You would think moving from a two bedroom apartment to a much bigger house we would have a place for everything!

Well we didn't! These next couple of pictures show what I referred to as the JUNK room! That is until we got a shed...which we didn't get for a while. That means me and my OCD had to live with this disaster for what felt like YEARS!

REMEMBER NO JUDGING! :) Also ignore the ugly color it no longer looks like this!

Never knew I had so many pictures of junk :)

The airplane in this one is a sore subject...it's a remote control flying plane that Boo begged and begged for so I got it for him for Christmas. He has flown it twice and just recently tried to give it away...

This was when we FINALLY got the shed and Boo was thrilled to be going through the junk room...can't you tell?!?!

I hope I didn't make your OCD go into overdrive looking at these! I am just trying to keep it honest here on the blog...I think I need some medication after looking at these. Even though I am sitting in what used to be the junk room right now talking to you uhhh typing this up and am very happy with the progress.

Two years later and we are still updating and working on the house.

Moving is NOT fun at all, I hate it. How do you feel about it? Maybe we should start up MA meetings...Moving Anonymous for us that are scarred for life. :)

Have a great weekend everyone!

Our House - Moving In - Part One!

After about 2 months we finally closed...buying a house is by FAR the most stressful thing that I have ever done. All the paper work and forms and verification of every little thing...man oh man I told Boo that we would NEVER do that again! LOL

We closed at 6:00 on June 30, 2010. That night with the help of some friends we came to the new house to clean it. We got it all clean and drove the 40 minutes back to our apartment to get some rest before loading the u-haul and moving all day.

We got the biggest u-haul truck available and it was FULL to the brim! Plus it decided to STORM on us when we got to the new house. Also the new road is dirt and I am surprised that the u-haul didn't get stuck even though we had a couple of close calls.

Now I know you all really want to see pictures but NO JUDGING us!! :)

These are in no kind of order, just to warn you!

The dining room looking into the kitchen, as soon as we moved in...messy!

The ugly dining room that will be covered soon!

The hallway looking at the front door.

They had the light switch in the living room for the kitchen and it drove us crazy so Boo moved it!! :)

The builders put the light switch to the kitchen light in the living room, sooo Boo moved it into the kitchen.

The next thing we did was start painting...well Boo started painting...and spilled paint on my carpet!

The master bedroom with the ugly blue! It just made the room seem sooo small!

Cutting in with the new color.

Bye Bye Blue!

I am not going to show you final pictures just yet! :)

The next thing we decided to do was paint the master bathroom which was the same color as the master bedroom.

The color we chose was the one on the right.

The far right is the new Master Bathroom Color

The new color going on

All of the celings needed a fresh new coat of white instead of builders grade off white.

White celing paint being cut in and then the new blue!!

Boo also painted the mirrors from the bathroom.

I think that is enough for one post! Part Two will be up tomorrow! It will be all about the JUNK room! :)

House Pictures - Before we bought it!

As of June 30 we have lived here for two years. That is the longest time I have lived somewhere since I was 16. Yay for home ownership! Is home ownership supposed to be one or two words? Who knows!

Anyways I thought I would post some pictures of the house when we first got it and for the next week or two post things that we have done to it since then.

The house looks TOTALLY different now! :)

This was the front of the house.

Our House when we first looked at it.

Here was the guest room when we first saw the house:

This was her office which is now my craft room!

This was the Master Bathroom. The paint was so dark!

The Master bedroom is weird...but we make do LOL we only have one window. The master bedroom with the old owners things

That's enough pictures for tonight! Tomorrow I will post some more pictures of when we moved in. Have a great night.

Weekend Guests

This past weekend we had some friends come visit and stay with us from Tampa.

David, Tori and Wyatt arrived on Friday just about the same time that I got home from work.

I was so excited to see them! Especially Wyatt! :) Sorry Tori and David!! As soon as they got there I was already trying to bribe Wyatt to love me again (he is two and forgets me between visits lol) so I got out the playdoh that I had been saving for his trip up! He loved it for about five minutes and then David, Tori and I played with it for probably an hour.

I think we were way more excited to play with it LOL David called me out and said that I really only bought it for me to play with...guilty as charged! :)

I didn't take a ton of pictures while they were here because we were busy and I just didn't think about it, but Saturday in the car Wyatt, Tori and I had fun playing with the Photo Booth on the iPad!

Here are some of my favorites:

When I asked Wyatt to say cheese, this is what I got! :)

Tori and Me

In this one Wyatt reminds me of the movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid!

HAHAHAHAHAHHA!

Love his smile!

Birthday Boy

On July 23 my husband turned 29! :)

He wanted an entire Birthday week... He should know only I get an entire week! LOL

We took two days off work and had an extra long weekend just celebrating him.

On Friday we rented a boat with another couple so we could go scalloping.

The morning started off bright and early, I had to get up earlier to go on the boat than I do when I have to get up to go to work.

I noticed that it was looking cloudy but figured it would pass us right over.

To the east it was beautiful.

To the west was a different story!

We decided to go up the Wakulla river to check and see how the water was looking and to just ride around.

Well this should have been another sign to go home lol first the rain clouds and then our boat breaks down. The boys try a few things and can't get it to crank so we call for a tow and tell them where we are. After about 30 minutes no one has come to get us so they try the boat again and it STARTS!! WOO HOO yay right?!?! Except the boat wouldn't go fast with out making a horrible noise. So we slowly start heading back to the marina when what do we see coming at us...the other boat that was being brought to us to switch out with the broken boat coming from the opposite way from where we told them that we were.

We switch boats and start heading out to the flats...

It starts down pouring!! Like stinging rain that was FREEZING!

All we could do was laugh. Chris said "Who's idea was this?!?!" I was like YOURS!!

It rained for about 20 minutes and then was done for the rest of the day and we got to see some awesome rainbows!

I can't rotate these! Grrr sorry about that!!

It was low tide when we went out which means that it was SHALLOW! We were out far but it was still only about 3 feet deep. I was the only Florida native on the boat and I was telling Christopher that he needed to go out farther from shore because there were oyster beds and sandbars everywhere.

He proceeds to tell me "I know what I am doing you just sit there and enjoy the ride."

Not even five seconds later we HIT a sandbar... thankfully we didn't get stuck or hurt but all I could do was laugh and tell him TOLD YA SO! :)

(See 2.8 feet deep!)

(such a tiny cute crab)

Thankfully God was watching out for us and we made it back safely...after I took over driving! LOL

Friday night after we got home and all clean we went out to dinner with some friends to a local Mexican place and they got him good when they came to sing "Happy Birthday" to him.

Saturday night was his party with everyone and we all went out to dinner then to a local pool pub.

Everyone buying the Birthday Boy drinks makes pictures fun!

Sunday Boo slept until 2:00 in the afternoon and we just hung out at home all day so he could recover.

Monday morning which was his actual birthday we got up early and went to Panama City so he could eat at his favorite place.

It's called Hunt's Oyster Bar. They have the BEST oysters that we have ever had and we make it a priority to stop there whenever we are close.

He was VERY happy! :)

It is just a little hole in the wall place that always has a wait and this is across the street... I thought it was ironic that the roofer was showing some butt! LOL :)

After lunch we headed to Pier Park to shop!

Boo loves spicy stuff so we stopped into the Pepper Palace and this shirt was on the wall! It cracked me up!

Some of you may not know but my favorite colors are pink and orange! :) I didn't end up buying these but almost did just for the colors.

We had a great time and were worn out from all the fun!!

Boo said he had a great birthday! That's all that matters.
